The magic of Byzantium
Jewelry is an essential addition to any outfit. Bah! Sometimes it turns out that an outfit is the background beautifying the jewelry when it is original, artistic and high quality. What ornaments should we select for the styles of autumn?
If you’re thinking about it, here are some useful tips that will help you dispel doubts.
Autumn is one of the most beautiful seasons of the year. Nature is preparing for winter sleep and covers the world with a thousand mood enhancing colors. Shades of gold, red and brown swirl in the air along with the leaves falling from the trees, forming amazing carpets, lining the streets of the big cities. In these picturesque circumstances of nature, we must not forget that our dress should fit into the colorful canons dictated by nature. After a somewhat ascetic summer, during which excessive “hanging” of jewelry is not only in bad taste but also uncomfortable, followed by a period when all restrictions of awkward styling disappear. This fall will bring restoration and different forms of revival of the Byzantine splendor.
One of the most adequate jewelry for this time of year is jewelry with black Rhodium with gold elements. Ideally, it is best when this jewelry goes hand in hand with stones of irregular shapes, or silver. When choosing colors of autumn additives, try to choose a warm color. Metal endowed with a golden tint is ideal for this purpose. Blue and all shades of blue, reminiscent of the azure are also fashionable outside of the trendy shade of red, orange and honey. In the cavernous depths of caskets, wooden jewelry cases or satin pouches in which we usually store usually, ascetic earrings, delicate rings, or modest necklaces and natural leather straps worn during the summer season slowly disappear for a few months. They give way to more abundant ornaments enriched with a touch of extravagance.
In the season of autumn 2015, decent sized bracelets, long earrings hanging to the shoulders and necklaces in size XXL will be fashionable. All decorated in warm colors of hot gold, of course. Decorations of vintage earrings that light triumphs since a couple of seasons ago will not disappear from our arsenal. However, there will also appear earrings and rings made of colored glass, fancy shapes and designs, like those created by master jewelers of ancient Byzantium. Heavy bracelets and necklaces made of stones will also enter our showrooms. It is worth mentioning that the stones will not only be polished but also un-touched by a polishing shield, designed to illustrate the assimilation of man and nature. Jewelry of the multi-gem style, which once was thought of as too eclectic will become extremely fashionable, because they are made of stones of different shapes, colors and sizes.
Brooches, which are a small addition to your outfit, but dramatically change the look of many jackets, dresses, or blouses, transforming it from a daily to a more elegant style will also appear. All products will liaise with a style of jewelry native of ancient Byzantium, or slightly closer to our time period, the Baroque style. The theme will be flowers, most of all exotic, and all that is related to the life-giving nature. Fruit motifs, or even vegetables will appear as well. We should no longer be surprised that someone decorates their ears with extravagant jewelry of shapes of apples, carrots, or a bunch of grapes. Of course, these earrings can be made of precious gemstones, glass, and ordinary clay. What counts is the end result. Once again, splendor, pomp and again splendor, is entering the showrooms.
